Rhythm Scales in Eb

Here is a way to practice your scales and get familiar with different rhythm patterns.

It's the major scale spanning two octaves, first with even quarter notes, then with tied triplets, then dotted quarter and eighth, then with double dotted quarter and sixteenth.

Each of these figures gives a different feel and it's important to become familiar with them. We have it in all keys, and you can play them separately. At the bottom of the page you can also select the next key in the circle of fifths. This will give you the related key that uses only one different accidental.

Also, we have a soundfile that goes through all keys a half step at a time. This soundfile starts on concert C, so arrange your sheets accordingly if you have a transposing instrument (Bb instruments start on D, Eb instruments start on A, F instruments start on G).

First, Select the Sheet Music for Your Instrument,
then, get the Sound File
