This is a piece for Bb trumpet and piano that will also work for Bb clarinet or soprano saxophone. It's a melodic piece suitable for early intermediate students and above.
Mr. Fitzgerald has combined vocal works from four Italian composers and adapted them into one piece. First, the Allegro section, is a theme by Scarlatti. Second is Allegretto by Caldera. Third is Andante by De Luca, and fourth is Danza by Durante. These four sections combine to make an interesting lyrical piece.
