This piece was dedicated to the New Mexico Brass Quintet. The movements are Fanfare - Antique, Dances - Blue, Lament, and Finale.
This is an ambitious work for upper level musicians that moves through a wide range of moods and styles, from blues to waltz to tangos and more. Overall it's rhythmically powerful with different instruments taking over the job of punctuating the timing throughout.
This full set of scores contains the conductors book with all parts, plus separate parts for C, Bb, F, and 2 bass clef instruments (intended for C trumpet, Bb trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, and Tuba). A new and interesting piece for your ensemble to perform.
