Composed by author of Blue Set No. 2 for Four Bassoons, this piece was written in response to the whining of cellists who wanted a piece of their own. Well, they got it, so audiences get ready for dangerously high levels of exposure to cello. As with all Mr. Schickle's work (he has also unearthed the PDQ Bach music) the music presented here is lively and very cool.
