This book presents 30 one-page etudes in ascending order of difficulty for the development of the student violist. They have been adapted from violin studies by Leonard Mogill of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
In general these studies are created from arpeggios and scales and are somewhat repetitive in nature. They are more like a Hanon for violists than actual tunes. They will help the violist master the tools needed to play compositions and will serve as excellent warmups also.
