Here is a collection of music for violin, cello, and piano that consists of one violin piece, two cello pieces, and two pieces for both (all with piano accompaniment).
All of these selections were written by black female composers, in the 20th century.
There is a wide variety within these works, of skill requirements and moods. In general, the pieces are more listenable and communicative rather than virtuosic and would make a memorable program.
