Giuseppe Concone was an Italian singing master in the 1800's, and developed volumes of studies for vocal development. Some of these studies are adapted here for French Horn.
This is an excerpt from the liner notes:
"The purpose of these studies is to help develop a beautifully centered sound while at the same time attending to musical expression and taste in the performance of a long melodic phrase. The studies do not go too high in range, so the player can aim to play easily, without strain, and maintain a beautifully centered sound at all times."
