This is a lively piece with 3 sections, Allegro Vivace, Andante Cantabile, and Allegro. The opening theme has the charming spirit of a folk song, the Andante is a moody, sad section, while the Allegro gives the cadence of a more traditional baroque theme.
It's relatively short and only of moderate difficulty so intermediate students and above would find this an excellent recital piece.
